Built by husband and wife design team Damian and Skye Bryant, this house took its inspiration from the traditional Federation Queenslander.
Featuring a spacious floor plan and an abundance of natural light, this expertly crafted property personifies what it means to live a contemporary coastal lifestyle. The colour palette is paired back, with white finishes, complimented with natural timbers and greenery.
“I’m always drawn to coastal weatherboard homes. Their timeless character”. Said Skye. “I love that they can be 100 years old but they still look great. We wanted to build a house that wouldn’t date quickly and would stand the test of time.”
Adding warmth and texture to the space, variations of timber can be seen throughout. Coming through the front door, stunning oak floors welcome you in, complimented by shiplap wall paneling. Custom shelving crafted from blackbutt slabs has then added warmth and functionality to the kitchen, bathroom and study nook.
Mentioned as a favourite of the Bryant’s, the pop-up roof line with clerestory windows flood the open plan living area with natural light. Further elevated through the oversized wicker pendant gracing the dining room.
