Inspired by the sleek and elegant simplicity of modern Italian design. This home in Sydney’s Middle Cove went under a massive transformation.

Perrie Henderson of Perrie Designs specified an interior scheme of natural stones, cool tones of black, white and greys contrast. While adding warm weathered oak floorboards in a Herringbone pattern, creating a minimalist and elegant feel throughout the home.

As explained by Perrie. “My clients loved to entertain and large extended family gatherings were the norm. So, we designed the kitchen and butler’s pantry to be the hub of the home. But, it was also important that it functioned like a great entertainers kitchen should with seating for six around the kitchen island, multiple dishwashers, zip tap, dual ovens and enormous amounts of clever storage solutions for the clients every need”.

The Kitchen’s Porters Aniseed black cabinetry against the showstopping 3m Super White Dolomite waterfall island bench with shadow line detail is the main feature of the living area.

While the use of natural stone throughout includes stunning Manhattan limestone in the entryway, a Fior De Bosco marble clad fireplace, Superwhite Dolomite Island and bench splashback throughout the kitchen and butlers. The master ensuite features Labyrinth Marble Mosaics and Calcutta large scale tiles making for an elegant guests’ bathroom.
