The newest brainchild of Adam Robinson has just dropped, this time in collaboration with House of Bamboo. The Pleat Collection as explained by Adam was “the answer I was looking for”.

“When selecting pots for various clients I’ve been frustrated at not being able to find contemporary timber pots or planters. The only designs I could find were beachy, Hamptons or Cottage Garden style which were not at all appropriate for the modern Australian outdoor spaces we were creating.”

So, what do you do when you can’t find what you want? You make it. Adam explained he had started the conversation with House of Bamboo.

“I floated to idea of a collaboration with no real idea of what the actual products might be. I just loved Jen’s new direction and the idea of educating people about how sustainable bamboo is as a material. As well as it’s use in a stylish form.”

Over the following six months the idea was developed and improved to what we see today. ” I trusted Jen’s ability to manufacture and she trusted my design skills. The sample arrived after 10 weeks and were perfect from the get go. No tweaking needed. We’re just so happy with them.”

This is now Adam’s fifth collaboration. So, what’s next? Well, as explained by Adam coming soon is a gorgeous ceramics range. Together with Zakkia, the Embers Range consists of table top pots, wall pots and hanging pots. Personally, if it’s anything as fabulous as the Pleat Collection, I can’t wait for more.
