Once a drab and dated space, Stockman’s Ridge Cellar Door was revitalised by the team at One x One Interiors into a venue that complimented the award-winning wines.
Facing a number of obstacles including a tight deadline, budget and small footprint, the space was carefully planned to ensure the creation of a stylish and relaxed meeting place that increased capacity.
When asked about the transformation, owner Jonathan had this to say.
“We’ve been producing award-winning wines, but the cellar door didn’t match our quality of wines. It looks fantastic. Christine has taken the best elements of our branding and made a space which is both formal, as well as casual and relaxed.”
The bar was one of the biggest transformations, with the work seeing it cut in half to create a more approachable servery. The bar was then refaced with vertical panelling which extended to the rear wall allowing the eye to travel the full width of the room, creating a sense of space.
With a non-negotiable deadline of Orange Wine Week, the alterations were completed ahead of schedule.
“We planned every detail to ensure we could meet our clients’ expectations” said designer Christine. “From the upgraded bar and signage, banquet seating, polished concrete floors, and cork pendants, to the leather and linen upholstered cushions. Dealing with a small space we were also focused on the finer details, including the custom table linen with a stitched border in the Stockman’s Ridge branded navy.”
