The transformation of a classic Mosman house into an elegant home was the favourite part of this project. As explained by Mandy and Alice of Spruce Interiors. The brief. Understated elegance and neutral tones incorporating sophisticated colour.
Although the entire property was renovated and furnished, it’s the open plan living space, formal lounge and main bathroom that really steal the show.
Entering the home, you find an oval console, finished in brass and vertical mirrors, a theme that continues throughout the house. From the spiral legs of the dining table to the chandeliers in the formal lounge. Even to the gold accents of the throw pillows.
They say the devils in the details, and that’s what is special here, that is what creates a level of refinement. Notice the wallpaper in the formal lounge. Notice the chevron tiles in the bathroom, a detail replicated in the dining chair fabric. The details make the design.
